COHLY provides hosting-support and co-hosting services for property owners and other persons legally authorized to host or rent properties through applicable short-term rental platforms.

COHLY may provide services including:

  • booking-related administrative support;
  • cleaning coordination;
  • maintenance coordination;
  • operational support;
  • property information organization;
  • owner communication;
  • owner reporting;
  • owner portal access; and
  • other hosting-related services.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with those services.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information COHLY collects depends on how you interact with the website and services.

2.1 Contact Information

  • maximum guest capacity;
  • approximate square footage;
  • floor or level;
  • property description;
  • amenities;

  • appliance information;
  • access information;
  • house rules;
  • property instructions;
  • emergency or operational information;
  • cleaning information;
  • maintenance information;
  • photographs;

  • other information voluntarily submitted by the owner.

Some information may be necessary for COHLY to provide hosting-support services.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT THROUGH STANDARD OWNER ONBOARDING

COHLY's standard owner onboarding process is designed so that COHLY does not require owners to provide direct access to their personal banking accounts.

COHLY does not request standard owner onboarding submissions containing:

  • online banking usernames;
  • online banking passwords;
  • banking login credentials;
  • debit card PINs;
  • direct bank-account login credentials;
  • routing numbers;
  • bank account numbers; or
  • other credentials that provide direct access to an owner's bank account.

COHLY also does not require owners to provide a Social Security Number (“SSN”), Employer Identification Number (“EIN”), or other taxpayer identification number through the standard owner onboarding process.

Where a hosting or booking platform requires an owner to provide banking, payout, or tax information, the owner is responsible for providing that information directly to the applicable platform through the owner's account or authorized process.

COHLY does not obtain access to the owner's personal banking account merely because the owner uses COHLY's services.

4. INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKINGS AND HOSTING ACTIVITY

Depending on the services provided and the integrations or information made available to COHLY, we may process information relating to hosting activity.

This may include:

  • booking dates;
  • reservation status;
  • guest-related operational information;
  • property availability;
  • booking information;
  • cancellation information;
  • pricing information;
  • cleaning schedules;
  • operational tasks;
  • revenue-related information;
  • service information; and
  • other information necessary to provide hosting-support services.

The amount of information available to COHLY may depend on the applicable platform, account configuration, owner authorization, technical integrations, and services requested.

COHLY does not guarantee that information obtained from a third-party platform will always be complete, current, or accurate.

5. GUEST INFORMATION

When COHLY provides guest communication or operational support, COHLY may process information concerning guests when reasonably necessary to provide the applicable service.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • guest name;
  • contact information;
  • reservation information;
  • booking dates;
  • messages;
  • property-related requests;
  • check-in or check-out information;
  • guest instructions;
  • operational information; and
  • other information made available to COHLY through the applicable hosting platform or service arrangement.

COHLY uses such information only as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable hosting-support services, communicate concerning a reservation, coordinate operations, maintain security, or comply with applicable obligations.

COHLY does not sell guest information.

6. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE VOLUNTARILY

You may voluntarily provide additional information through:

  • onboarding forms;

  • photographs;

A verified telephone number may be associated with your COHLY account or onboarding record.

Phone authentication may be used to:

  • protect accounts;
  • recover account access;
  • prevent fraud; and
  • provide requested services.

Providing a telephone number for a callback request may also allow COHLY to contact you regarding the request.

11. reCAPTCHA AND SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES

COHLY may use Google reCAPTCHA or related security technologies to protect forms, authentication processes, and other portions of the website against bots, fraud, and abuse.

reCAPTCHA may process technical and interaction information, including certain device, browser, network, and usage signals, for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

Google's current documentation explains that reCAPTCHA analyzes signals such as user behavior, device information, and IP addresses to assess risk.

COHLY uses reCAPTCHA for security and fraud/abuse prevention rather than for personalized advertising.

Where reCAPTCHA is used, its processing is also subject to Google's applicable contractual and technical framework.

COHLY configures and uses these services according to the technical architecture of the COHLY application.

The security of data also depends on appropriate configuration, authentication controls, access controls, and other measures implemented by COHLY.

16. THIRD-PARTY HOSTING PLATFORMS

COHLY may interact with or provide services relating to third-party hosting platforms, including Airbnb or other applicable platforms.

Those platforms operate independently from COHLY.

Information that COHLY receives from or sends to a third-party platform may be governed by:

  • the owner's authorization;
  • the applicable platform's technical capabilities;
  • the platform's terms;
  • the platform's privacy policy;
  • the applicable service agreement; and
  • applicable law.

COHLY does not control how a third-party platform independently processes information.

You should review the privacy policy of the applicable third-party platform for information about its own privacy practices.

17. PAYMENTS

COHLY may use third-party payment providers where necessary to process payments owed to COHLY.

When payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider, payment information may be collected and processed directly by that provider.

COHLY does not need access to an owner's online banking credentials to provide standard co-hosting services.

Where a third-party hosting platform processes owner payouts, the applicable platform is responsible for processing those payouts according to its own systems and policies.

18. INFORMATION WE DO NOT SELL

COHLY does not sell personal information as a business model.

COHLY does not sell:

  • owner contact information;
  • guest contact information;
  • property information;
  • account information; or
  • personal information

to data brokers or advertisers for monetary consideration.

COHLY may disclose information to service providers and other parties as described in this Privacy Policy when reasonably necessary to operate the business or provide services.

19. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

COHLY may communicate with you regarding services you requested or your existing relationship with COHLY.

This may include:

  • onboarding communications;
  • callback communications;

  • security communications;

If COHLY sends marketing communications where applicable, you may unsubscribe using the available unsubscribe mechanism or contact COHLY.

Washington has specific privacy protections concerning certain categories of information, including consumer health data. COHLY's ordinary hosting-support services are not designed to collect consumer health information.

The Washington My Health My Data Act imposes specific obligations on businesses that collect or process consumer health data, including separate privacy-policy requirements where the law applies.

COHLY does not intentionally request health information as part of standard property onboarding or hosting-support services.

You should not submit health information to COHLY unless it is specifically requested and reasonably necessary for a lawful purpose.

25. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

COHLY's website and services are intended for adults and property owners or authorized hosts.

COHLY does not knowingly design its services to collect personal information from children.

Owners are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to provide such materials to COHLY.

Access to the owner portal is restricted through authentication mechanisms.

Owners are responsible for protecting access to their authentication device and account.

COHLY relies on information supplied by users, property owners, third-party platforms, service providers, and technical systems.

COHLY does not guarantee that information obtained from any source will always be complete, accurate, or current.

Users should notify COHLY when information associated with their account or property needs to be corrected.
